Monthly Gardening Classes
These classes are designed for people who want an introduction to gardening or who dabble in gardening already and just want to learn more. It might be, that you want to create your own garden, but don't know where to start, make changes to your existing garden or you might want to learn about plants in general.
The classes will take place one morning each month from February through to October. (Friday or Saturday morning). In this way, you will see the progression of the garden from Spring to Autumn.
Each class will consist of a short lecture and slide show, practical demonstration, garden tour to examine plants in flower at this time and of course, a cuppa.

Planning and creating a new border from scratch

Learning about the various groups of plants, trees, shrubs, perennials, biennials, annuals, bulbs etc

Colour in the garden

Attracting wildlife into your garden

Water and bog gardening

Plant propagation including, sowing seeds, plant division and taking plant cuttings

I am currently taking names for the 2025 classes. Class numbers are restricted, so early booking is advisable. The Cost of the course is €210 for the nine classes which can be paid in two installments: €80 deposit and the remainder in February. Time 10 am to 12.30 pm.
